Maycey Lyon- Office Ambassador

Hometown: Originally from Chico, California, they have been living in Honolulu, Hawaiʻi since mid 2023.

Education: They hold a BA in Sociology & Psychology from the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa.

Experience: They bring a versatile background in customer service, hospitality, and team leadership, having worked in both restaurant and café environments, as well as in university housing. While serving as a Resident Assistant, they participated in event planning committees dedicated to building inclusive and supportive campus communities.

Primary Duties: As an ambassador, they strive to provide a welcoming and professional first point of contact for clients and guests. They support the team by helping ensure smooth day to day operations, coordinating hospitality logistics, and assisting with administrative tasks as needed.

Fun Fact: A few fun facts: they’re currently writing their first book of poetry and enjoy collecting vintage beads to create handmade jewelry. They love any opportunity to be outdoors or build community. They also have heterochromia, with two different colored eyes!
